Job Description
Maintenance Mechanic Primary Responsibilities
Must follow all plant safety and PPE requirements.
Responsible for installing, repairing, adjusting, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all types of plant equipment and facility.
Inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, install, clean and assemble as necessary to maintain equipment/buildings as necessary.
Use various types of meters and testing equipment.
Troubleshoot and communicate effectively with supervision and engineering team.
Interpret blue prints.
Welding.
Performs daily inspections and maintains repair logs.

Job Requirements
Maintenance Mechanic Experience
Minimum 2 years verifiable mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment
One (1) year as a Class B Maintenance Mechanic and One (1) year as a Class C Maintenance Mechanic
Maintenance Mechanic Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Good organizational skills to process job related data
Able to provide relevant, clear and timely information
Able to anticipate needs of the facility and proceed to a solution with minimal direction
Able to analyze and develop solutions in timely manner
Must be able to work independently, as well as with the team
Must have basic mathematical skills
Must be able to use power tools including electrical testing and measuring equipment
Maintenance Mechanic Education, Licenses & Certifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certificate of completion from Class B and C TPC training modules
Maintenance Mechanic Additional Information
Must be able to work in differing working conditions: Temperature, Wet, Humid, Noise, Atmospheric Conditions
Pay DOE ranges from $25-$30/hr.
