Job Description

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The essential aspect of this role is to tracks all essential communication (voice, email, text) from field sales/service concerning order status, freight inquiries, shipping commitments, ETC. Provides diligent follow up as needed to assure to timely and accurate response

Transacts all stages of entering, updating, tracking, shipping, and billing for scale and parts orders
Expedites orders when necessary
Communicates and coordinates with the engineering and production teams to keep orders on track and anticipate issues
Keeps management informed of issues or impediments to delivering the highest level of service
Provides timely turnaround on freight quotes
Books LTL and FTL freight and arranges for pickup and loading. Prints and maintains all shipping documents. Coordinates delivery as dictated by conditions or time constraints


Maintain an organized and clean work environment
Performs normal and routine office functions such filing, copying, ETC.
Perform all related duties as assigned by supervisor
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Remain diligent to create a culture of safety in our workplace
Employee may be required to work overtime as needed

Job Requirements


High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree is preferred
Two years experience or more in a fast-paced customer service role
Accustomed to working in office settings where a high degree of professionalism is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel; Outlook; Office 365 or similar work sharing cloud applications
Proficient in problem solving and multitasking.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

$18-$20/hr DOE
Monday thru Friday 8a-5p
