Position Summary:
Responsible for inspection and packing finished products into different containers and stacking them into staging area in accordance with company standards and operating procedures.

Essential Functions:

Other duties within employee s ability as assigned by the supervisor are required and may change due to business necessity.
Responsible for running production lines and printers to fulfill customers' orders.
Responsible for inspecting and sorting plain and printed product for defects or deficiencies; observing manufacturing line for malfunctions; and notifying supervision and maintenance of malfunctions.
Responsible for packaging plain and printed product by assembling cardboard boxes for caser and closing filled boxes as they come off of caser. Filled boxes are to be placed in staging area for removal by material handler.
Responsible for hand packaging on manual lines to include inspecting, counting, bagging, and casing.
Responsible for ensuring correct and legible date code is marked on all filled cases.
Responsible for completing required quality logs and count sheets.
Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsible for complying with good manufacturing practices (GMP) as required.
Responsible for complying with all Dart Container policy and procedures.
Shares overall responsibility for product safety, legality, regulatory compliance and quality systems.
Assist with quality control, material handling, and other operations as necessary.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
6 month's continuous previous work experience.
Previous industrial/manufacturing experience is a must.


Physical Requirements:
Must be able to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
Must be able to occasionally care 20 pounds up to 20 feet.
Must be able to occasionally push or pull 20 pounds up to 20 feet.
Must be able to occasionally reach greater than 12" from torso.
Must be able to occasionally kneel and crouch to retrieve cases.
May occasionally perform work above the head to stack cases.
Must be able to constantly stand and walk to monitor manufacturing machines.
Must be able to frequently utilize near vision, 20 inches or less, when performing inspections. Must be able to frequently utilize far vision when observing line. Must be able to frequently adjust the eye so as to bring objects into sharp focus when spot checking product.
Must be able to constantly utilize color acuity when inspecting printed product.
Must be able to frequently hear and speak when communicating with groups about product quality or alerting line issues.
Must be able to frequently work with the hand(s) and finger(s) when performing all essential job functions. Must be able to occasionally feel by perceiving attributes of objects such as size, shape, temperature or texture when checking molds and product quality.
Will be exposed to dust, fumes, heat and loud noise in manufacturing areas where hearing protection is required & provided.
