Job Description
The Picker will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of inventory within our warehouse. Proficiency in operating a Stand-Up Lift will be essential for this role.
Job Requirements
Job Duties
Utilize Stand-Up Lift to accurately and safely pick and pack products from designated locations.
Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards before packing.
Assist in the loading and unloading of shipments, both manually and with the use of the Stand-Up Lift.
Safely operate material handling equipment, including but not limited to, forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all aisles and storage areas are free of obstructions.
Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Education
Required: High School diploma or equivalent
* Valid Stand-up Lift Certification is a plus; or willingness to obtain certification
Work Experience
Proven experience operating a Stand-Up Lift in a warehouse environment.
Knowledge/ Skills
Proficient in using warehouse management systems and handheld devices for inventory tracking.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50lbs) on a regular basis.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Work Schedule is Monday thru Friday 8: 00 am to 4: 30 pm
There is a chance to receive a weekly attendance bonus
