The Production Packer completes repetitive actions required to make the packaging line ready for producing packaged product and to pack product during operation of the line.
Receives job assignments and work instructions from line leader.
Works at different shop floor packaging line positions as assigned.
Completes line clearance, cleaning and preparation of packaging line for new product batches or other preparation work as applicable.
Verifies product identity, lot number and expiration date on product container as proper against information posted on the line identity sign.
Packs filled unit container into consumer carton, if applicable.
Packs completed packaged unit into shipper carton, if applicable.
Seal labels and stack completed shippers on warehouse pallet, if applicable.
Completes end of shift and periodic line and packaging area cleaning as assigned.
Picks up and moves component and product packaging up to 40 lbs.
Maintains orderly work area.
Performs work within SOP guidelines.
Work within plant safety guidelines at all times.
Follows all company policies as set forth in the employee hand book.

Must be able to perform repetitive tasks.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to repetitively lift 40 lbs.
