Job Position: Feeder/Packer
Location: Livingston, AL 35470
Pay Rate: $10.00/hr.
Shift: 1st (7a-3p), 2nd (3p-11p), & 3rd (11p-7a)
Description - The Finishing Department Feeder/Packer rotates between feeding unglued cartons into the feeding mechanism of the gluer/folder machine and loading glued cartons into a corrugated box as they move forward from a gluer/folder machine under the direction of the direction of the Finishing Department Technician operating your assigned machine. The Finishing Department Feeder/Packer inspects cartons while feeding or packing cartons to ensure quality and compliance to customer specification requirements for each job and notifies the Finishing Department Technician of any issues according to the SOPs (standard operating procedures).
Required A high school diploma or GED. This occupation requires working a few months to one year with experienced employees. Lifting is required (not over 45lbs.). This occupation requires continuous exposure to moderate noise levels which may require hearing protection. This occupation is associated with continuous repetitive motion (bending, pushing, lifting, pulling, and standing) which requires use of wrist and back supports. This occupation may involve additional training/education to fulfill job responsibilities or career advancement.
